Volunteers/Acknowledgements

You can Volunteer!

We have had many altruistic people offer to volunteer to help with this project, from engineers to the team that developed this website. If you are interested in volunteering, please take a look at the following areas of need and see if it might match what you have to offer:

This website is a work in progress. Complex Cortex Designs will continue to add features. If you know graphic design, you could offer to work on one of the new features, under their direction.

We need more relevant photos for the site as well. We need spring, summer, winter and fall highway pics for our main page. If you have other pics you would like to give us permission to use that you think would be relevant for any page of the website, please send to julie@solarroadways.com

If you are a writer, you could do some writing for our website additions, blogging etc.

We will be adding to our Board of Advisors. If you have an area of expertise that would lend itself to the Solar Roadways project and you would like to volunteer to be on our board, then let us know. Helpful areas of expertise include solar energy, structural engineering, civil engineering, long distance DC power transmission, glass manufacturing, wildlife management, water management, electric vehicles, environmental science, etc.

If you live in the north idaho area, there are many areas where you could help, please contact us...

You can donate

We're always in need of materials such as heated glass, solar cells of various types to test with our system, circuit boards, super- or ultra-capacitors and other electronic components, high intensity white and yellow LEDs, etc. If you are a manufacturer of these or similar materials, and would like to donate these items, then please contact us. Services can be donated as well: circuit board assembly, machine shop services, etc.

You can also go to our Donations page at the bottom of the screen to make a monetary contribution. Every little bit helps and you can help us to brighten the future of our planet.

Acknowledgements

Many companies, groups, and individuals have helped us at various stages of our journey. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the following folks for their donated time, various prototyping parts, financial help, prayers, and devotion. Thank you very much for all of your help. We have remained encouraged by the sheer magnitude of all of the people who have expressed their support.
